OK first off I want to say this is my first time actually saying something on the forum, but the reason I break my silence is cause i'm trying to get ahold of a certian part for my Lancer. Yes the hundreds and probably thousands of people that know of RMR have probably seen the 3 piece wing that they advertise. Well this is my problem. I live in Va Beach and according to RMR you can get these parts through the dealership. Ummmm obviously not here. I have been to the 2 main dealerships (First Team and Hall ) both told me that I was smoking crack and that nothin for the 2002 Lancer was released. On top of that they said even if there were they would not be able to order "aftermarket" parts. Now I e-mailed RMR and they told me that their products have been released and can be ordered. Does anybody know where I can possibly get ahold of this wing considering that the dealer and RMR wont give me a price or how to get ahold of these.

I tried to get a price on the RMR intake and had the same problem. From what I hear, its do-able, but I can't figure it out either. I'm a sad sad turtle...

 

I would call RMR and explain your problem to them, see what they say, and ask if they can give you specific dealers in your area. Suggest to them that it might be helpful if they list those dealers on their website so people know where to go to get a hold of there products.

Then call the dealer and ask to speak to the manager, tell him this is what you've been told and is there any truth to it. Tell the manager you think it is a great idea and you would be willing to buy those parts from him if they sold them. Dealers have a lot of leway (Spelling?) in what they do, certian Subaru dealers in this country sell Sti stuff, a few sold special Cobb edition RS's, and quite a few run rally cars and auto-x entries. Just try, you never know.

I will write RMR and see if anything can be done.
