Painting Advice

This weekend me and my friend are going to start painting his 300zx, Is there any advice or anything i should keep in mind when doing it, also if anyone knows where to get automotive paint either online or in the chicagoland area. any advice would be appreciated. thanks

The final & overall look of the paint job is 80% prep work and 20% paint...just remember that.

600 is fine, you could do 1000 dry if you wanted. 1000 wet for after primer. 2000 wet after clear. Those are the figures I always used.
