Post Getting ready for a trip.

So i am about to make my first long trip in my Lancer. I am going to go from L.A. to Montreal, Canada. I have already changed my oil, installed a new intake, got some minor details fixed, new hid bulbs, new denso iridium spark plugs, and a strut bar.

I have 31,000 miles on my car and i was wondering if there is anything i should do for my car to make sure it will get me there now that i am not entirly stock?

Thx a lot.

How's your brakes holding up? Outside of that and topping off your fluids, you should be good. Good to check tire pressure also. Basically anything that's in your service manual for the 30k checkup.

well i talked to my shop and they are going to check all the timing, and the fluids. i am getting a free breake inspection, and after that i will decide if i need new pads or not. I might be getting new tires and maybe some new rims so they will be properly inflated and balanced.

thanx for all of your great help. wish me luck!

And change your headlight fluid.

Follow the basic maintenance prescribed in the manual and you should be fine. Anything else is above and beyond the call of duty, but couldn't hurt either. You're in for one hell of a drive.
