What options do Lancers come with standard on every model, just so I have an idea?

 

the GSR model lancers come standerd with power everything cuase its the better model but the RS models dont come standerd with power windows, door locks etc. its optional on those

 

WHat is the standard size tire and trim?

 

Gsr has 17 in OZ alloys, Power windows/locks, AYC, 17in Brembo brakes , Momo steering wheel, Recaro seats, color coated handles/mirrors.

RS has 15 in steel wheels and none of the above. it does have a titanium alloy turbo charger, closer gearing, and double plate cluth though. weighs 223pounds less than gsr

Rs has nothing cause Mitsu expects rally teams and drivers to change/ upgrade the standard parts anyway.

 

GSR only gains a little weight for all those options you end up with.

i'm new to the forums, but newayz, i am going to be getting a lanEvo5 from evolution imports if they can find one. well one thing is that LHD are usually only on RS models for rally purposes.. so if i end up getting one it'll be an RS.. doh.. no recaros, no momo steering wheel, no 17" OZ rims, guess i'll have to do some extra saving up T_T

doh.. just realized.. no power ANYTHINg (doors, locks, windows, etc)..lol will have to bring to shop and get lots of things fixed up.. hehe well at least the titanium turbo will be there =)

 

Sky, whats a lanEvo5? You only get the titanium turbo with the Makinen onwards ie Evo6(.5) on. From talking with a few people the titanium turbo is nothing special.

 

Titanium turbo is an option on the Evo7 GSR, standard on the RS.

The titanium turbo, other than sounding really cool, has lesser turbo lag and spools up quicker. It's lighter and stronger.

 

Umm.. isnt that the other way around standard on the GSR and optional on the RS? Why would they make it an option on the Better Model Car and the one that is more expensive?

 

Can yo get AYC on the RS?, Would it be a PITA Mod? or just some expensive parts? Would the computer have to be changed/upgraded?

 

Sabotage: usually people want to remove the AYC from their GSR's, certainly not fit it to an RS!! It would be expensive, new rear diff, new AYC computer and a number of sensors.

As for the titanium turbo, for me its hype. I think its standard on all cars from Mak onwards.

 

Just wanted to know if it was doable. Something i'd like to know if i'm BS'n w/ someone. I don't see me having an LanEvo for sometime, & i'd probly have to get it used.
