ok my chk engine light came on after i installed my rrm header a couple a months ago i bought the header used but in good shape it came with an 02 censor so i just installed it with the one it came with well my car was smelling really rich and gas millage sucked bad so i got it checked out at auto zone and the code came up the o2 sensor so i replaced it with a universal bosch witch was to big and had to pull my header off to get in, after all that work my wife drove to work and the light came back on she says it doesn't smell as bad but it idles really low at stops any ideas,

Dumb question - where did you put the CEL fix?
In the header - wrong place, that's the problem.
In the catalytic converter - well, they don't always work. Headers are a great way to get a permanent CEL.
One piece of advice that will work 100% - have a shop (or DIY) remove the catalytic converter and install in backwards. Then lengthen the O2 sensor wires and reinstall. This way, you have the first O2 sensor reading dirty air, your exhaust passes through the cat, and then it hits the 2nd O2 sensor (which reads clean air). The CEL goes away if you do that.
