Question WRC in US?

I heard there was going to be a WRC event in the United States this coming May. whats the deal? I suppose I could check their site but I have a hard time leaving this one

We've got the SCCA Pro Rally thing going on, buts its nothing proffesional as the WRC. Although the STi sponsered by Prodrive does compete in it, also the Evo 6 or 6.5 which is sponsored by Mitsu USA.
I would love to see a rally in here, but too many regulations and getting legal issues to make public roads a race track etc etc.
But it would promote a lot of tourism too, and it would help USA pick up on another sport its been lagging in.

nope definitely no wrc event on the schedule for this year, but if we insist and show support for the sport we could get on in the next years.
as infinity said there's onlye SCAA prorally here in the US, maybe you saw that one.
