New recall?

I got a paper in the mail on a new recall. I havent got around to calling and seeing what it is yet. Anyone else get anything in the mail? We could only hope for the a/c knob which i doubt it has anything to do with it.

I highly doubt they will ever recall that damn a/c knob. I don't miss that thing for one minute.

Yea i learned that the hard way... I always would turn it until it got tough then back off and then go again and it would turn. Until one day i got tired of it and didnt take pressure off and it broke. So i change a/c to heat manually at the gear peice. I poped the line off and just switch to a/c or heat depending on what its like outside haha.

Go under the driver's side and when you look at it there should be like a lever that looks like an L shape. Mess around with the knob while you watch and you'll see which thing you have to manually switch

There is definitely a recall (I just had it performed on my 09 lancer), but it is mostly for northern residents. If you're city doesnt salt roads, then the current recall is pointless for you.

Apparently it is some collision sensor that is rusting out due to salted roads / salty air. They just replace it with a painted one.

its the sensor for the air bags. in areas that use salt they rust and wont deploy air bags in a collision.
