I brushed up against a curb today while parking so now I have a gash about 4-5" long along the very outer edge of my rim. Barely any damage apart from the missing paint. Any suggestions on what kind of touch up paint to use so it doesn't corrode? Also what kind of prep do I have to do?

 

Find a decent silver? I don't know that wheels have a paint code, honestly.

 

That's what I figured... Can I just use generic paint or does it have to be specific "wheel" paint to stick to the aluminum?

 

Generic paint should be fine.
