So just wondering.. For anyone with a light weight crank pulley.. How long have u had it on and did it mess with the engine in a negative way at all??

Highly doubt it. If it was going to have a negative effect, it would take a long time.

It won't "mess with the engine." According to , the stock pulley is just there to dampen vibrations and quiet down noise. So if a lightweight pulley had a negative effect, it would just be in the crankshaft bearings wearing out faster than normal. 90% of all cars NEVER have a bearing issue in their lifetime, so even saying "wearing out faster than normal" might have no bearing on your ownership of the car.

Make sense?

I know what you mean. My first reaction (when I learned that the stock pulley is a vibration dampener) was something like "oh, no! I can't get it then!"

But I've since relaxed a bit. I have the RRM pulley sitting on my desk awaiting spring (or a trip to the mechanic).

yeah the stock one is cast iron and a dampener built in, which is stated that it reduces torsional vibrations on the crank and vibration at high rpms.

Personally i am still against them but i'm just a hard a*s
