2008 Lancer Dyno!!

Got a dyno done the other day at Turbotrix just to see what I was producing. I gotta say, I'm not disappointed at all, and I was actually thinking I would of had less.

Engine mods: RRM SRI, customized greddy cat-back exhaust, RRM pulley, customized intake heat shield.

Max HP: 154
Max TQ: 146

I always foget..but are dynojets accurate?

I feel like if there is no base dyno on the same machine, that these numbers mean nothing. cause people using other dynos have been geting lower ratings

btw since ur in jersey...ir pzev?

Yeah, if that is accurate thats around a 15-17 hp gain. Nice for the money spent!

Assuming 15% loses, that would mean you're getting 177hp at the engine. Making it a +25hp gain simply with those mods? I don't know man something doesnt seem right...

If there's no base number, it's a meaningless number. Sorry to be so blunt but as far as we know a stock lancer could produce the same numbers.

I agree get a stock Lancer on that dyno or the numbers in a sense are useless without a point of reference

Did you guys not notice that those were "uncorrected" numbers.....

Better drop about 20+ hp off those figures.

Corrected numbers take into account thing like altitude, dyno error, etc. It doesn't really matter which one you use as long as you're consistent.

I'm not exactly sure what stock does, since I don't know anyone who has a stock lancer who is willing to dyno it out. I'm not to sure whether it's PZEV or FED, but I'm about 90% sure it's FED, if what RRM said is true about the chassis code thing.

Well, NJ seems to get some Fed and some PZEV. If you check the chassis code, just see if you're a 2 or a 7. Then we'll know for sure.

What tranny do you have? What gear was it in? These things are helpful to know because they do make a difference.

Ok, so I checked the chassis code, and it ends in 3M, so turns out it is a FED. Also, I drive a five speed, and I believe it went through every gear. Numbers don't really help much in this case, being that the stock hp claimed by is 152 for the FED. Someone with a stock FED should get a dyno to compare numbers, then we'll know for sure exactly what the power increase was, if any
