Question Just one question...

What's up evrybody? Im a new to the forum in the sense that this is the first time I post, but ive been reading what all of you have to say for some time. I was just wondering....I noticed that everyone is rushing to put thier deposits down for thier evo right away so that they can get it as soon as it comes out. That rocks! However, since I have no plans on buying mine until June 2003, do you think i'll still have some trouble getting mine? I called my local mitsu dealer and THEY said to come in and leave a deposit 4-6 months before I want the car. I can order it whatever way I want. Should I go by this? That would be awesome to just leave a deposit in like January and then get the car immediately in June when I have enough money for the down payment. Or does anyone think there is no way in hell Im gonna be able to leave a deposit in January and still have it by June?? Any and all comments would be appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome to the Forum, And to answer you question on that i think that by june 2003 you would probably be able to walk into the dealership and buy one, they are most likly trying to get you to put a deposit so they can have a guarantee purchase on one of their cars i would say dont worry about it, but thats just my opinion

I think it may be worth putting down a deposit if it means a lot to you to have an Evo when it first arrives. I doubt that it will be that hard after a while. We all know that the Evo has come a s direct result of the WRX coming to this country, and it doesn't seem as if Subaru have any plans of stopping production on the WRX. I would count on it being readily available after a year, plus you wont have to pay any mark-up.

Well its only gonna be about 6 months after its release if it comes out in january. if its here somtime this fall though, then i guess i can see it readily available by June or July. Thanks again for the input. Just wish they had a factual msrp already!!
