Hi, wondered if any one new anything about the engines that come in the uk spec lancer 2.0

It shares the same code as the evolution

Anyone know the differences?

i havent heard anything about that but from 94-00 japan had a lancer gsr (not to be confused with and lancer evolution gsr) the lancer gsr had a 4g93 turbo intercooled fwd setup with 205hp stock,it runs a 15.4 in stock form... at my brothers work they have books from 92-08 with every make and model car japan had and what type of motors they came with...

holy cow thats pretty a n/a 4g63 ... i love it , wish they did something like that for us... kinda like the old 1g eclipse's, talons, and laser. they came with either a 1.8 crap motor a 4g63 n/a motor or a 4g63t motor...

 

USA sucks we get all the crappy cars

IIRC over the 1.6 base model lancer we have the sport comes with 2.0l engine, strut bar, mesh grille, 30mm lowered springs, 16" wheels, MOMO steering wheel, white dials and sports front seats.

 

momo steering wheel...im jealous

 

So now, I am curious...instead of putting the head from the evo onto a g64, why not throw one from the UK on top of a g64. I guess the only thing to take in consideration is the shipping.....which in turn would cost as much as en evo head, but who knows *shrugs*

 

please cut the car in half and send the front half to me please will only pay for shipping LOL
