Aftermarket seats w/ stock belts for street?

I would like some aftermarket seats for my car for auto x, as the stock ones have no support for such purposes. My question is, can aftermarket seats still use the stock belts for street use? Does the part where the belt clicks in (for lack of a better term) attach to the floor of the car or to the seat? I'm at work and can't look right now ha ha. If so, how would such a set-up work? I'm assuming there must be seats with a gap in the bolster for a belt to attach?

i do believe you can continue using the regular seatbelts. i think the most recent guy here to swap seats was crypto, he put in megan racing seats.

i know my friend has the evo VIII recaros in his car and while he uses a harness for autox, he uses the regular seatbelts with the recaros.

Megan racing seats use the stock seatbelt. I did a full write up on them here, and install instructions:

Alternatively you can get the Recaros out of the evo that bolt right in and have all the attachments for the seatbelt and sensors.
