MY name is ja williams i am a mitsubishi dealer in grand rapids michigan. gezon mitsubishi. i am takiing a poll to see waht people think of the new ralliart and evo. i have gotten 12 evo's so far this year and i have 1 in stock right now. and 3 more on the way let me know if u like them or dont like them. me being an evo owner myself i love them. just wondering if i should ordert the ralliart as a high volumer car or not

 

It's fugly, but you'll still sell them. I mean people do buy Lancer ES, so the Ralliart has to sell.

 

i hardly ever have anyone buy the lancer es, they would rather buy a civic than an es that is why i am taking the poll and any comments or suggestions i can pass mitsubishi's way

 

In person I'm sure it'll look better and the handling and power upgrades will make it more then competitive. People who can't touch the EVO but love the car enough might give it a look and with the improvements I think it should sell well. The exterior is a love it or hate it type of thing and to me the new Lancer much like the new EVO will look far better in person.

 

No matter how you put it, it'll sell. Personally they shoulda just sticked with the 02-03 designs and just slammed that MIVEC Engine into our current Lancers. The total overall design is just terrible. Comparing the current Lancer's design to the Ralliart's, the current is just more better IMO.

I'm sure we'll grow to love it sooner or later. I think we really need to see it in person to really appreaciate the Ralliart itself. Definitely a step-up Engine wise, but a downgrade in styling.

Moving to US Lancer General as this whole thread is concerning what we think of next year's Ralliart.

i think it'll do well .. but we'll alllll know who the better looking ones are.

 

It will sell like hotcakes I'm sure. All that 2F2F fever will be going around...kids will want to get an EVO just like good old Paul Walker drove (well...VII..VIII...close enough) and when they find out they can't afford it but their is a similar looking car much cheaper they will fork out the cash.

 

Ugly, but will sell moderately. But don't expect to clean up on them.

 

I think you nailed this one!!! Even though I think they should totally leave the base lancer alone IMHO... if someone cant afford and EVO they might as well buy a car that has more mods available.. It seems that MItsu is trying to diversify the lancer after it has just barley been out. Just as the saying goes "if it aint broke dont fix it"

since my body kit it looks better than OZ or Ralliart!
since I upgraded the suspension it feels better than the OZ or ralliart will!
after I turbo it, it will run better than the ralliart too!

I think it looks ok, the only pictures ive seen are sliver, and ive never liked sliver cars, i want to see how it looks in black.

 

the body kit on the new ralliart is nice. actually i just bought my second lancer today, so are you trying to get rid of all your es, ls and oz? i think the ralliart will sell just as well as the other lancers because of the increased horsepower and everything. it might even sell better for old people.

 

es would be cool except for the beige trim on the inside. the oz has a nicer more defined trim. like the ebrake on the es is all one color and same with the shifter, i just cand handle that.

 

ES much like the LS is available in two interior colors being the blue'ish/gray and the more "refined" tan. As for the Ralliart Lancer, I'd buy it if I could, but I can't so I won't. Regardless of styling, the extra power and displacement increase would make me a happy guy. The only thing I worry about though is about the awful weight distribution that already exists in the Lancer (I do believe it's around 70-30) and it can only get worse with a bigger engine without chassis refinements.
