I just installed a short ram intake to my 06 ES and now when i turn the engine off the filter makes a sucking noise followed by clicking noise from my MAS. is this normal?

 

Sounds normal to me.

Yep that's totally normal. When you take off all the stock intake piping and filter box you remove all the sound deadening those parts do to the car. With the metal pipes on an AEM intake or the filter stuck on the MAS like the RRM intake the sound of the engine stopping is much more audible.
