Vortex Generator ???

Hi all first time on here been reading for a while, time to ask my first question

I drive a 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer, Not an Evo, I have just ordered a carbon vortex generator that states it fits the Evo 8 & 9

I know the Evo 8 & 9 spoiler fits onto my boot, but will the vortex generator go straight onto my roof, or will it not fit ????

Thanks in advance

just for looks i believe on the lancer
but on the evo it is supposed to create more downforce along with the evo wing to make driving more stable at high speeds(from what ive read on evom)

It tumbles the air which increases the downforce produced by the rear wing. To be effective though you need the large wing and you need to be traveling at a high rate of speed.

Not unless you regularly travel at 100+ mph and need more grip in the rear.

To be effective, you must also have a rear wheel drive vehicle, whether that is an AWD or a RWD car. Last time I checked, Lancers were FWD.

It does look cool tho, just not functional if you ask me.
