I just got mine on this weekend and it looks like it is far enough away from my bumper. I don't know though as my car is now in the shop (finally) to get my body kit on. Won't know how it works with the new bumper until I get it back. I gotta admit I was a bit worried that it might sound annoying but I really like the sound of it. Not too loud and you can't really even tell if it's just idling.

The OZ guys are the ones having the problems with the burning, and the part that you say touches the tip isn't even the hottest part where the burning occurs. Take a look at your car's bumper where the tip comes the closest. Now that should be the very edge of your rear bumper lip, now take your finger and move it about 2-3 inches in from the tip of the exhaust tip. On your kaminari kit, the lip gets further from the exhaust tip the further you move in that direction(it tapers inward). The very tip of the exhaust tip isn't where the burning occurs but about 2-3 inches from the end as I said. The OZ lip doesn't taper like the Kaminari and that is why yours will never burn.

Also, the exhaust tip is ONLY burning the OZ because the exhaust uses the stock rubber hangars. The muffler is much heavier than stock and makes the rubber hangars bounce even more than the stock one. You can avoid this with a little bolt-on engineering around the hangers to stiffen it up. The stock down-pipe has a braded section which should be enough flexibility for the whole system.

I have an RMR and it burnt the **** out of my stock OZ lip.I don't think the hangers have anything to do with it, I think the exhaust is not bent right. I say stick with RRM and greedy
