ralliart have a different engine, about 40 more horses, and different body styling.,

also, just a word of advice. Don't buy a lancer if you are planning on modding. If you want a fun car to modify and get you around. Then buy a Civic. It'll be faster and cheaper to work on.

and if you must buy a lancer. Don't buy that one. For $6,000 you can get a DSM or Eclipse with similar mileage. You could probably even pick up a GSX for that price. AWD, 4G63T engine. Lots of fun

with 88K on the clock, it's only worth about $4,000. Also its missing the front lip. And the air intake funnel.

If you plan on modding and want to get your money's worth out of those mods, I would suggest you look for a different car. If you just want a nice daily driver that you can mod to look good and handle decently, by all means go for the lancer. With a high mileage engine, power mods are a bit of a gamble.

ralliart is way different from the base lancer but of course costs more. Ralliart is estimated at about 160hp different engine has 5 lugs. Front and rear disc brakes. I would say its the better deal if you are looking for power and modding. Lancer is just a cruising car.

---Edit---

lol sorry my internet is slow and does not update fast

If I had taken my time in buying a car then I would have most likely gotten a Ralliart...
So don't make the same mistake I did

My Reasons to justify a Ralliart over an OZ:
2.4 DOHC Mivec Engine Vs. The OZ's 4G94
Front Side Airbags (Some Models)
Rear Disk Brakes
Fog Lights
Infiniti Stereo w/ Sun & Sound Package
5 Lug Wheels
Front and Back Bumper Lip
