Overpriced is a matter of opinion and im sure their pricing is based on Supply/Demand factors. RRM is the only company that CONSISTENTLY makes products for the Lancer. Until we have a proliferation of after market products as the case is with Honda, then prices will more than likely stay as they are from RRM. If you dont want to pay, dont play, easy as that. If you can get cheaper Lancer Specific items, more power to you.

It doesnt help that Mitsu has the habit of changing motors on a whim so it seems so that consistency in after market products is almost hard to achieve because the after market providers resources are always split between maintaining products for older models and creating for the newer models.

actually that might be true. 2 yrs ago when i was looking at a tc they told me you can purchase a trd supercharger from them. if you want to keep the warranty of your car, it has to be installed by the dealership.

That's different, the part is actually made by them too.

its not really an opinion its more of stating the obvious. yes there are few companies that make parts for the lancer but just because you are one of the few dosent mean jack up the price on average or in some cases less than average product. im not bashing RRM in anyway im just saying the prices should be more reasonable. im sure everyone who has a lancer would rather have an evo but everyones pockets arent deep enough. for example the AEM intake is 309 on the rrm website without shipping, i shopped around and found the same intake for 290 shipped and thats not even rrm product, the turbo which retaild 4600, for 5100 you can go to your mitsu dealer and buy a brand new complete 4b11T evo X motor, internals turbo included and pick it up at your dealership, my turbo kit when i had my supra, the GREDDY turbo kit costed less this kit.

so saying that its an opinion is not really the cause im just stating the obvious. again like i said im not bashing RRM at all im just saying people bought lancers for a reason and most dont want to spend 400 on a header or 250 on a SRI. for for those that do, everyone has their choices of how they spend their money.

no part period will ruin your warrenty thats the thing a lot of people dont understand, mitsubishi cannot void your warrenty unless they can prove that the aftermarket part and/or mod was the direct cause of the problem. so if you have a SRI,Coils, swaybar, exhaust and for some reason your tranny breaks, most likely its going to be covered unless that mitsu can prove that you installing those parts directly caused it to fail. its a law not just hearsay, dont let dealers scare you by saying you cant do this or that or it will void your warrenty

Nothing on the car will void the warranty either. Talked to the dealer today. Starting to plan the next one!

I love that you put the time and hard work in to making your car your own My last post is not ment for the people that love RRM and buy all there parts, It's for the peolpe that see a Lancer in a dealership showroom and then tell me that Any dealer can get this car and why am I charging so much! If they took the time to call and find out what all is done to that car they would go . What you get when you go with a dealership that throws on 1 or 2 RRM CF pieces and some stickers is not the same thing as a Lancer made form the ground up with RRM LOVE AND CARE/know-how and isn't that way we buy RRM products in the 1st place....... Real RRM customers know where to go to get the parts and Cars need I say more................
