08+ Lancer responding to mods

Has anyone moderately or heavily modded an 08 PZEV 2.0 CVT GTS? Thinking like mods as pulley, SRI/CAI, flash, header, exhaust. Would like to know how it drives after mods compared to stock. Pulls better, better mileage, other benefits.
I have one of these and I recently test drove a new Ralliart and an 2.4L GTS CVT. The Ralliart was really nice but to get all the toys I have in my GTS is EVO territory for price .
I am leasing right now and after the test drives I kinda was thinking about saving up for a Ralliart...but I like the toys and gas mileage of the GTS. I was wondering if I should just save up still and trade in early or at the end for a 2.4 GTS and mod that, or keep mine and just mod it with the saved money.
Would like to hear what people have to say about their modded Lancers

I suggest you search on those various mods since I guarantee you that there are many people with a variety of combinations. A modded car will never feel like an OEM car with the same power.

Estimations are no good, people estimated I would have gained over 30 HP with my lancer and I gained 5, with every bolt-on possible.

The major problem is very few people actually do a base dyno to compare their values with. It seems like most just dyno their car, compare it to a value produced by someone else and conclude that they gained the difference.

So... kinda the whole point... I bought the 2.4 '09 GTS was to get away from the smaller 03 (which is the same all the way through '07) engine which does not respond so well to bolt ons. I got so discouraged when I read the disappointing dynos and all the smack talk about the pathetic 4g94. Now I am excited because there are so many little things that should really help the car out.

At least I hope...
