Leaving oil outside

This may seem like a real dumb question, dont bash me too hard

Is it safe to leave the left over oil outside or should i clean my pan out?

do you mean old oil ? are you worried about the oil or the environment? or the pan lol

lol sorry, i meant as i drained my oil into a drain pan and then put back into quarts to give to autozone and whats left over that i couldmt get, is it ok to leave that pan outside

does that make a lil more sense

Yea it's fine.

I always leave the oil in the pan until my dad changes his oil and then he disposes it.
