Need Advice
Sup,
Okay well I forgot to post this cause I was kinda caught up in my CAI. All is good w/ that now, BUT I need some ppl's advice. Okay, so i never told u guys but a lil while back someone hit my car..it was a hit and run though. It was in a parking lot. There's not that bad of damage. I was quite mad, but I try and look on the positive. Okay well before alot of you tell me to go through insurance and get a body kit, im way ahead of you. I was thinking of doing that, but to be quite honest w/ you where I live Insurance companies will do n e thing to jack your price up. Now I am a 19 year old kid broke *** kid driving a new car I dont want my insurance to go up n e more. I saved up 2 years to get a new car and im still trying to pay it off.
Now, damage is only on the bumper. All it is is a scratch on the side and on the front passenger jus near the whole where the fogs lights should be, there like a indent/scratches. I was wondering if n e one knows if the bumper could be like smoothed or something at a body shop. If it cant, I was thinking of getting a new bumper off someone off this msg board. Im gonna post in the Wanted section.
Heres my biggest concern. There is a scuff on my headlight. IS THERE N E POSSIBLE WAY TO GET THAT OUT. n e shiner, plastic ****. I dunno n e thing? If not im gonna buy a new housing off ebay or someone. Its all on the passenger side.
I am eventually gonna get the EVO VII kit but right now I want my car to look decent so I can drive it nice and proud. Plus its gonna be winter here soon and I dont want to put on a nice kit over winter jus incase something happens.

U SERIOUS DUDE???? Thats such wicked news. Ya its not too deep, like i kinda stratched some of the residue off so its hardly noticiable. BUT its noticiable to me!!! So where would i get this compound from?? Can I do it or would I have to get some sort of body shop to do it. Sorry im new to this. This shouldnt of even happened but im tryin to fix wrong to right!!
The rubbing compound is available at any auto parts place, probably in the repainting section. As for the dent in the bumper, some body filler and paint would fix it - something you can do yourself or have a body shop do for a couple hundred or less I'd imagine. The body shop will be quicker and better, but if you're trying to save, then you can do it yourself.

cool, thanx for the info guys
. I was thinking maybe it could be filled, I wasnt sure though. Its not that bad but its depressing to look at. My brother is working today, so tomorrow me and him are going to call or go to body shops. My friend told me I should look around for ppl who specialize in fiberglass too.
