Question Machined metal shiftgates?

Hey guys. My little bro got a red '03 Lancer ES ($10k w/ convenience package) last week and I've been trying to find a machined metal shiftgate to replace the stock boot. You know, that metal plate that has slots to slide each gear in. like this

I haven't been able to find them anywhere, do you have any suggestions?

We dont have this kind of mod yet for the Lancer.. Maybe atleast an aftermarket one.. But im sure you can get this custom made if he really wants it... It looks tight and pretty nice idea.

The custom route's too time consuming and would probably cost more. I was hoping for an easy way to do this...

I like the metal shiftgates. It's easier to see what gear you're in and what you're shifting into. It's probably because the car's new, but 5th and R are a little vague and harder to shift into.
