Painting Rims

So I just recently got my new Mitsubishi Lancer GTS 3 days ago in orange and I love it. So my first project is going to be painting my rims. So if anyone can share any good tutorials or guidelines I would really appreciate it. Also if there has been a thread like this before I'm sorry =\

I just got my lancer too, and want to paint my rims and have already talked to a guy that can do it for about 200, but to be clear hes going to powder coat them, i hear its much more durable than just paint(if thats what you meant)

Powder coating can chip off just like paint especially if you have bad roads. I've painted my rims and its pretty basic. Plus they look great.
Here's the guide I used. Cost me less than $40 bucks for all the paint, primer and sand paper.

If your gonna keep stock wheels for a while powder coating is probably better than painting. Otherwise painting is pretty good for a few months maybe a year.
