Is this exhaust good for my 09 lancer gts?
HKS CARBON wrapped Titanium Muffler, with custom piping
It was on the evo X for 4 months so yes its used, its still pretty new! New ones MSRP around 1000 complete HKS system, this is an HKS CARBON wrapped Titanium Muffler, with custom piping save a hell of a lot of $$ yet get a FULL straight pipe, no restictions which make constructer expensive and performance slower, it's just a full piece of exhaust.
However it's a race exhaust, so it will need a 3" set up (3" DP 3" Testpipe etc) The gains with this setup will be remarkable.

will this fit my 09 lancer gts well? sounds good? performace?
thanks ppl

No, its horrible unless you're going for just looks or sound. Performance wise, you'll loose alot of torque and you'll notice that it takes longer to get your car moving. OR if you turbo your lancer then it will be a great exhaust, some modification will be required to get it to line up tho and for the mounts and stuff.
wow, that is a great exhaust (i have it on my evo 9 MR) but i would not recommend putting something that big on a lancer (unless you have a turbo) it is made for turbo cars (bigger pipes, bigger muffler) would not do too good on a stock lancer imo, anyone else on here have a better explanation?
By having a 3inch pipe, you loose alot of back pressure. This will cause your car to seem slow off the line and not pull as hard. That exhaust is meant for turbo'd cars like Evo's, STI's, Supra's, ect. So unless you get a turbo your better off staying stock. If I had to guess a percentage, Id say maybe 8% loss in torque, maybe more (I could be totally off, im not good with numbers lol). If you don't drive the car too hard you probably won't notice it too much, but if your looking for great performance stick to pipes that are 2.25 inches, 2.5 inch max. You need that back pressure for the lower RPM range.
Yeah 3 inch is way too big on an NA 4 cylinder. Your car will sound and perform like crap unless you install a nice turbo setup. You will probably gain some HP at the higher RPM ranges, but your lower rpms in the street will make you car about as slow as mine. Don't do it
