Four doors may be functional, but IMO not as sporty looking. I want an Evo coupe!

It could be cool, but i think the lancer is too big of a car to have just 2 doors. To make it look right they'd have to put huge doors on it, like Ford Thuderbird doors, and i hate giant heavy doors. Cool idea though

 

I think the car would look cramped and distorted. But hey that's just my opinion.

 

Personally I like the fact that it's a sedan. The whole appeal of the Evo to me is that it's a good combination of all-out speed with everyday usefulness - in other words it has a trunk and a back seat. I don't need/want another impractical car

Also, don't forget that a coupe Lancer would possibly fall into Eclipse territory.

 

Sport Sedans Own, i like how they look.

Mitsu won't make a coupe and has abandoned the market to the whims of the 3g eclipse. Mitsu will fight to keep the eclipse as its sole competitor.

If so, I can see the US spec Lancer in the coupe format to look like a bubbly Audi TT or something to that effect.
