Lowering my car
Hello,
I have been reading up on this same question. So far it seems to me you can either go with springs and preformance shocks/struts or coilovers. Coilovers seem to be preffered by many on this forum but are a buit expensive although if viewed in comparison to both shocks and struts they dont seem that bad,. Also, While your at it may as well add front and rear strut bars or whatever as well.

I'd imagine that as long as you make sure there's no rubbing and you swap the springs out properly, it should work well... Might want to get the alignment checked afterwards, just to be safe... never hurts.
I've had Progress Springs for nearly 5 years and I'm on my second set of struts.
So that's where my vote goes.
Cost?
Buy them used @ 100$
Install them yourself (noobs in 3 hours @ 1 beer/hour) for about 5$
Edit:
Sorry, I just saw you drive an 09! I know nothing about 04 and up

if you go with tein, and it drops it about 2"....get a camber kit (100~ bucks)....install everything, then get an alignment
or get the progress / RRM springs, which is about 1.5"....you don't really need a camber kit if its 1.5 or less (couldn't hurt though)
either way, after install, get an alignment
