AC/heat cable? where to get one?

Hey,

does anyone know where I can get that little cable that turns the air from hot to cold? Its all bent up which is apparently causing the knob not to turn.

Anyone have any ideas of where to get one?

for the 03 lancer i believe there was a recall for those knobs. i got all 3 of them fixed! i had a problem turning them before and i know a lot of people complained that they would snap or break. you should check out your dealership and ask them about the recall. (unless you're talking about something entirely different)

Yah, i read the mitsu report. Not sure it was the same thing. The guy who does all the maintenance on my car took a look and think its the little cable. He showed me whats happening and you can see that little cable is bent up and not pushing the leever to hot/cold.

I'm going to call a local mitsu dealer tomorrow.

yeah i think your best bet is to call mitsu and tell them you want to send your car in for the recall and once they see the problem hopefully they'll fix it under the recall number.

lol good luck man!
