I have been collecting parts and am just waiting for my adaptor so i can hook up my custom CAI and was thinking of the exhaust.

To get to the 2.25 increase could i just take the end fitting (where it bolts to the cat) and get a 1.5 to 2.25 adaptor and weld it together and bend my pipe to fit. (fortunately i have access to a pipe bender) Then i would just need the Muffler/Tip right?? any good ideas for that last part? thinking magnaflow but not sure. I am on an extremely tight budget,.... Looking for that sound though !!

I have 2.25 from the cat back the the muffler and have a univercal megan racing muffler. It really sounds mean when you get into the power band
