i agree to that. i work at an auto parts store and toyota parts are expensive!!!!! mitsu parts "almost always" have to be bought at a dealer and they are cheaper than the toyots parts that are sold at the auto parts stores.

imo when toyota stopped production on the supra in 98 they started to suck monkey.

Do you think this article was written before the massive Toyota/Import recall?

After it also says if you could wait for the recall to clear . Imo the Lancer does have a ****ty drive by wire Throttle body . But over all other then the slugish throttle response the car is a good car .
Still like my 02 Better

i work in the auto industry at a parts store and the parts for any toyota are more expensive than the mitsu's at dealer price. i think that the articles writer mite need to do some more research.

Yeah, who ever wrote this obviously is looking at it with a personal stance. why would he say wait till the recall is over. You know how many people refused to sail after Titanic, or fly after 9/11. oh, whats that you say, this car is back on the market after they just took it off for killing people, sign me up please!! Is it ok if I pay in full. Cause i might die on the way home. Makes a lot of sense.

Then continues to say if you dont feel like buying the latest recall you can throw 27,000 down on a base model Hyundai. Theres a big price difference first off. And from a personal point of view it's a hyundai...nothing fancy. I didn't buy a mitsu cause of the price, or the looks, or the smell, I bought one cause I know I bought a quality product. And now the verdict is in. Everyone who chose the Toyota over the Mitsu are now biting nails hoping there car makes it to work and back for one more day.

Then If you keep reading it goes on to say that the mini cooper appeals to the younger generation. WHAT!?! The only people I know that own Mini Coopers are old bald school teachers trying to be hip with it, and ladies at work who wear dresses that match the color of their dogs shirts. And they have nerve to say it's a better choice then a Scion. Now im not saying a Scion is a great car, to me it's a watered down Toyota, which isnt worth much now a days. But still a mini coop and a scion are no where near comparable. At least in my country.

Lancer owners dont take this to heart. And if this little article downs on your day just take 10 mins to drive through your town and back and watch all the eyes that your car catches. and no stock corrolla can steal the spotlight.

Mitsu Love!

Yeah, those in Mitsubishis shouldn't try to play the reliability card with Toyota. While Toyota is having problems right now, their general reliability record blows Mitsubishi out of the water without even trying. That said, I wouldn't buy a Corolla over a Lancer.

Used Evos cost more, have higher maintenance costs, higher insurance costs, higher repair costs, have less features, harsher ride, lower fuel efficiency, require premium and it's becoming harder and harder to find one that hasn't been beaten to ****.
