hell, my grandma makes casarole out of threads like these there are so many of em. seriously, dont do it unless you dont care about wasting lots of time and money when you could have just bought an evo. if you are gonna do a motor swap, toss in the mivec v-6. it has already been done and isnt too complicated.

Sure it would, why would it be any different?

Since the topic of the thread seemed to be "make my Lancer an Evo" I assumed you were going somewhere with taking the turbo from the Evo.

 

mivec v6?...that reallt fit in a lancer!!!....if you have details explain!!...motor mounts match?...how much did it cost the guy?

 

Rob from ///RRM had a guy calling saying that he wanted an Evo engine in his Lancer, and that money was not an issue. But when Rob got done explaining the cost involved and all the parts that needed to be found, swapped, and modified, he said forget it.

 

How many times can ONE newbie ask the same question!? Beyond ridiculous. Hooray for 3 merged threads.
