just finally orderd my greddy exhaust got it for a good price too at yahoo shop for 439 shipped cant wait to put that on... yummmm

 

oh forgot, for people that have the greddy exhaust, how long have you had it.

and does anyone know if the newer evo series setups still melt the bumper???

 

If it sits on the lip of the bumper then it might melt it.... ull find out soon enough

 

Is your Lancer an OZ? If so, it will probably cause some browning and melting. You can have the shop that installs it bend it down a bit to bring it away from the rear skirt, which would reduce the chances of the before mentioned burning.

someone i know just got one installed about a month ago on an OZ and it started to melt his bumper. He jsut had the exhaust shop he got it installed at go back and bend some of the piping new the muffler down a little so it wouldnt sit right on top and then sanded down the real lip a little too.

 

mine hasnt started melting at all....how long does it take to start melting it?

 

prob not too long.... if it's on the bumper should start melting with under an hour of driving
