is gts m/t a good idea?
Hellllppp!!!
Im in the market for new cars and i have no idea what i want but i have my eye on the
lancers...
i want something sporty with a manual transmission i have looked at a bunch of cars (Civic si, Subaru wrx, mazdaspeed, lancer ralliart and gts) and the lancer seems to be the best for my buck. i need something with a decent amount of space in the back seat as i have a 3 yr old. a decent sound system, handling. is this a fun car to drive? i need some feedback from current gts owners! i havent heard too much about them from friends/family so anything would be greatly appreciated!

i currently have a 1996 toyota corolla
so anything would be an improvement !!!! im just really diggin the Lancers!!

i have an 09 gts cvt and it is sure fun for me to drive, a 5spd manual would be even better. i got a cvt because my fiance drives it too and i didnt feel like shifting while im in bumper to bumper traffic everyday to and from work...
if your not worried about price then I would look into these (used) a MazdaSpeed Hatchback or a ralliart, even a wrx.
if you are 100% set on getting a NEW car then I would try to get a good deal on a 2010 lancer.
The resale value of the 2009 lancer gts is pretty low so you might be able to get yourself a good deal.
