ROAD/RACE- Doing Private Builds
Don't mean to make RRM lose business but there is a nice how-to I found. It's not Lancer Specific but it's the best start you could probably get. Basically just need to change your wiring to match the lancers...
JDM Folding Mirrors
As for RRM doing custom builds... this has been a long time coming. They basically work on so many cars it was only a matter of time before they started advertising this. They've been doing custom builds for big shows and customers for a while.
I was one of the guys taken under their wing back in the day. There have been many others as well. Just never advertised as custom built by RRM. They really can do some awesome details that can make a car stand out in the crowd.
The concept cars they've built have even inspired factory engineers to reach a little further on new models.
Just to note... my lancer days have been over for a while but I STILL take my cars to RRM before any others. Even though they've been Ford's, a Jeep, and lately a Chrysler they still let me in. So don't be afraid to ask about building anything... they really can do it all if needed.

Kaoscage drove down to our shop from Nor Cal. I think he saw a few of our projects that are in our stabel. Race Cars basically. We need to do a Youtube of the latest round of upgrades to my race car. Might make an intersting shoot if we can put it all together in a little 2 minute thing.

Yes, RRM you guys are fn amazing, as I said before I am real serious with my cars, just in the garage we got 2 lancers, 01 roush mustang and a 01 cobra. Needless to say what I saw @ RRM was jaw dropping. Great parts and really helpful if you have any issues.
I mean come on, what other shop will open up on a holiday day off just to give you a tour of the shop and pick up a few parts. When I got turbo with this car, it will be RRM who puts it in and tunes it.
Rob's customer service alone will keep me coming back, he and the rest of RRM are honest and truly care about their customers car. They never tried to push extra items on me, and even spoke with me about my non RRM parts. These guys are legit, nuff said.
And Rob please make me the evo 9 kit like Accolade, lol I ain't ever getting that thing. And with a shaved trunk, I need that JDM 9 style rear.

Here is a cool pict of our latest big project. We unveiled it at MOD. It is our own TIME ATTACK car but it underwent a major redo.
