Is this a decent Catback Exhaust for money?

So this is my first mod that I'm looking at buying and installing for my 2003 oz rally.
What I'm really just interested in knowing is it going to give me a nice sporty sound and not some ricey sound that some give and if its going to be the best I can afford for under $180

From the posting I know its from Zomk Speed
Has a 3.0'' Inlet tip
Has a 4.5'' Outlet tip
Made from SUS 304 stainless steel

Here is the posting of it,
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/02-06...#ht_9153wt_958

It'll cost me $170 for it and I really only have $180 or less to spend on one.

It claims to give 20+ HP lol but I doubt it'd give me 2-5 so what are you guys thoughts on it? If its a good deal for what I'm looking for or if there is a better brand for under $180.

No catback will give your Lancer that much power. Trust me, I use to have an 02 Lancer. My only advice is you need to beware of ebay parts.

Yeah I know..I really only want exhaust to make my lancer sound better so I'm not really worried about hp at all...because I know it doesn't do much if anything.

I'm just wondering if this brand is known to have a nice sound and not a ricey sound.

Unless you guys have other suggestions for brands for under $180

for 180 you arent going to find anything but rice burner exhausts. your better off going with a custom exhaust and getting a nice muffler

If you buy it, and it doesnt work so well, your going to kick yourself.

Buy an exhaust from a well known brand. Even hunt for it used, you will have no issues. Cause they are made to last and are engineered properly.

yeah 2.25" would probably be fine but deff a max of 2.5" if you want it to drone a lot. 3" inch would sound really bad IMO.

i run 2.5in and i had it done at local muffy shop.. muffler is carbonfiber canister type , 2.5in in 4in out has short tip.. all aluminunm piping and the tone is nice in wot.. sound is ok crusing on streets @ 35mph when u keep it at low rpm. im benn runing w/o my silencer for 2 weeks w/o issues. its a lil louder but not enouugh to draw attention on the street from cops.. and yes my cat is still intact

eek not a fan of the looks of that one. I bought my catback off of Ebay for $200, its called a Tsudo. Sounds good but no power gains of course...definitely a decent exhaust for the money though.

Alright thanks. If you say Tsudo sounds nice I'll go with it because I'm getting my check today.

Edit: Okay so I found the Tsudo exhaust you were talking about for $200 but it says its for 03-07 Evo 8 9 Lancer Evolutions and I wanted to double check that it'll fit my 03 Lancer OZ.

Here the link,
