well I just sold my 2003 OZ lancer.... and picked up my brand new 2010 lancer sportback...... I got the sun and sound package and touring package so I had to have the car shipped from new york.... I should have it in 2 days.... I can't wait just had to share with you all.

In all seriousness, please save up :/ the lancers really suck. Try to get a ralliart. I have a 2009 lancer personally and its the worst mistake of my life so many regrets.

So underpowered. Slow. Heavy as *****. Etc, i wish i didnt buy it to be honest. But i hope you enjoy it! Man the touring package is sweet though, you'll enjoy the epgrade and it looks fully loaded.

What are your plans with it??

 

I don't really have any plans for it.... maybe just intake header,exhaust lower it a little. I just needed something new I had bought the Oz new back in 03 so it was just time to get a new car

No review here but I beaten a few of the gts models ... But back on track good for you man a new car I definitly deserved ..

 

I wouldnt say it was a terrible mistake, if you want to put a turbo kit in your car and then it will be faster than a ralliart and you will have spent less money. It is def. slow until you do some things but most people arent buying lancers for the speed, if they wanted the speed they would be posting in Evo X forum "out with the old in with the new". I bought my car because its dirty as hell and looks bad. I did put an exhaust and stuff but thats mainly for the sound. So congrats on the car !!

 

thanks... I knew it wasn't going to be crazy fast honestly I wasn't looking for that in a car I commute 3 hours round trip to work and home so I needed something comfy that gets decent gas mileage. plus I play hockey (I'm a goalie) so I needed something I could fit all my gear in.

my only complaint is that it is WAY to quiet.... I just placed an order for an intake and exhaust so that should be fixed soon

 

If your foot reacts to sound like mine does, the intake and exhaust will only serve to damage your fuel economy.

Don't let the general a-holes make you feel bad. Purchasing a car is a personal experience, if you like it then love it. Don't listen to those that say crap because they think everyone else will credit card mod or can even afford something different. The sportback is a nice car, I am sure you will enjoy it!
