2009 Lancer ES capabilities
A lot of people may not agree with me, but sprint boosters make a lot of difference. It makes the car feel faster from my pant dyno. It eliminates most of the lag you feel in our CVT cars.
Do a search on google or on the forum about it and decide for yourself, but I and everyone I've met who have it swears by it. And we all have CVT as well.

Pant Dyno (Butt Dyno) is just slang for how the car "feels". Dyno is something that can measure how powerful your car is (Horse Power, Wheel Horse Power, Torque, Etc.)
CVT (Continuous Variable Transmission) is what automatic lancers use. So when someone says CVT, it just means Automatic.
While you're at it, you might want to do some research into intakes as well for performance. Check SRI (Short Ram Intake) and CAI (Cold Air Intake).
Its a lot to take in, but its also a lot of fun to learn about these things

Hope this helps.
I second the recommendation for the sprint booster. Hands down it makes one of the biggest impacts on your cars performance. Why do I say that? Sprint booster is a mod that modifies the signal going to your ecu. The sprintbooster processor analysis the throttle input (pedal) and does a very effective job at anticipating what your true throttle demand is. Its smarter than people let on.
