Er...I think OBX might have more something to do with it being a company name, seeing as they are headquartered near San Francisco. From what I know about OBX, is that much like Arospeed, they make ... well, cheaper parts, not approaching the quality of companies like DC Sports (hell, they make OEM Honda stuff!), Greddy or HKS.
No, Im 100% positave aout this people in north va have these stickers everywhere to show off that they can afford to go there.
Look at the Outher Banks, NC at the bottem, these stickers have nothing to do with the other obx

Okay, please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Rai and I started raiautosalon.com. Now I'm not suppose to advertise in the forums until I am a registered vendor(waiting for my business documents), however, I have to get in on this discussion if you don't mind my fellow moderators.
RAI is a new start-up. I can understand that it can be hard to trust a new business like mine, but I'm willing to help anyone understand that I am here to help. The reason why I chose to specialize in only US Lancer parts for now is because I own an OZ myself and find it frustrating that there are only a few vendors who have parts available. All of these OBX products do fit the Lancer. I have confirmed with OBX in San Francisco, CA and awaiting arrival of products. Even if they were not out yet, I decided to get the ball rolling by introducing OBX to Lancer owners. I'm just here to give options. Don't get me wrong, RRM is great and I don't plan to put them down in any way. In fact I sport some of their stuff and love it.
About OBX. I would say that you are getting a good product and a great deal. I wouldn't jump on the gun and say that OBX is cheap. In fact, theyv'e been around for a few years now. It's true that they have a lot of parts for Hondas, but doesn't every vendor have this too? Come on, Hondas are the most popular rides to trick out and parts are out there all the time. Now that OBX realized that the Lancer market is in demand, they decided to participate. Just like any other vendor, they saw a nitch. To me, OBX is very good for the price. Perhaps they are up there with Greddy and DC as far as quality, but they just set their prices lower- which makes it seem like OBX has cheap products. But have you seen their products? They look great and use high quality metals, etc. But it's not only the looks but the performance.
Sorry for the long essay. The main thing here is do your research first. Don't assume anything. Find some reviews, go to their website and gain some knowledge, call them up! The only way you can be satisfied is by asking a lot of questions until you are solid with your decisions. Sometimes the best thing to do is just try the product out yourself. Risks are a part of life.
Thank you guys for your time and for visiting. Please feel free to contact me via email if you have any questions/concerns.
