Lights dim, Battery leaks!

Alrighty, Well i own a 02 oz rally and it has a salvaged title. I had seen pictures of the damage from the accident when i bought the car did not look bad at all. It had front end damage to the extent of the radiator being pushed in towards the engine maby a 1/4 in. it still has the original radiator in it. So what im trying to get at is, my dash lights & headlights dim & flicker most every time the radiator fans kick on. I have a small loss of power when this happens . My positive battery terminal leaks acid got a new battery still leaks! I'll turn the key in the ignition and the fan kicks on even on cold starts but just for a second then it turns off, it may do this 2 or 3 times in a second or so. Heres what i have done to try and fix the problems so far. Checked fuses and two were melted the radio and dash light fuse, may have been my fault when replacing radio (replaced fuses). I checked & cleaned the ground wire connections, they looked good! Changed battery, disconnected battery, removed the fuse for the fans in the fuse box under the hood, disconnected the fan timer relay switch on the radiator. Who ever owned the car before me had a sub-woffer system in the trunk which was removed b 4 i bought the car. Im sure i had the altonator checked and it was still good. So my thoughts are that it may be the fan relay timer switch on the radiator, but im just not sure. So with all that said i could use some feedback on the problem cause its getting annoying and just looks bad with the lights dimming while parked or driving down the road. Please Help I have no where else to look to for answers! THANKS!!!!!!!

very weird that it does that...i would definitely check the wire(s) that lead to the sensor. I also have noticed the same problem when I have my heater is on full blast with the car at idle.
