Thumbs up Curious on what everyone thinks?

Hey guys i have a white 08 gts and i didnt like the chrome trim on the upper grill so i got the de grill and then painted the logo white instead of chrome. so now its black with the white logo with the white bumper on the bottom. heres the picture, it was takin on my droid so the quality isnt the best. should i get the middle blacked out or leave it white? i havent seen any white logos yet so i tried it out and i think it turned it great!

also im not sure how to do pictures on here so hopefully my attachment works, if not let me know. thanks!!!

Thanks panis...I'm debating if I should get the middle part blacked out or not. It looks pretty good right now the way it is. And thoughts?

Looks really good! Blacking out your bumper will make it stick out a bit more, but either way, I think I like it more than painting the emblem red on a WW. Photoshop a blacked out bumper maybe?

LoL you beat me to the punch. I also have a white GT-S and have a EVO LP relocator and just got my RRM CF tweeter cover's and now am looking into the RRM CF front Lip and painting my white too.

I'm just glad someone showed me a example before I decided on red or white and I think red would go better for my CF and white color scheme I'm going for.

I personally think it look's clean and unique and not to mention 1st person to try it or at least post it.

Thank's for the thread because I was debating this EXACT same scenario as well

Better than red for sure! I hate the red emblem on a white lancer, it looks like a clown nose lol.

Thanks everyone! I'm glad you like it!

Yea i see red a lot and thought it was over used so i went with white. I still have my bumper white but I'm considering having it blacked out by the end of feburary. I went on PS and made it black but I much rather see it down for real. When i get it all done I'll have to update it. Also I gotta smoke my taillights out.

Question: what lights would i get to have led ones for my headlights? The stock ones are blah and really wanna upgrade them and make them look sharp! Any help would be great! Thanks

Incase your wondering my 2010 Lancer came stock with 4300K or 4200K HID's stock incase your wondering if you see "my garage" picture's. They are like a light blue but white up close

It just snowed down here and had ICE ALL OVER THE ROAD'S INCLUDING ON MY HEADING LIGHT'S N IN MY TIRE THREADS

Check the bulb list if you want LEDs, those are for your city lights (the little lights on the outsides of your headlights. If you change those, make sure they're snug in the bulb connector. Mine fell out when putting it in and spent 20mins trying to fish the bulb back out.
For headlights, if you have halogens, you can get "HID look" with bulbs that look like they have a blue lens. I went to a local shop at a chinese mall to pick up some.
The legality of them is questionable as they're probably not DOT/SAE approved, but I've never had an issue with them.
I personally don't recommend putting an HID kit in your halogen housing as in general, doing so tends to spray light all over the place, which can blind other drivers and get you in trouble w/ cops due to their brightness.
I've seen it done on a few cars, can look really good and it's really bright.

Yea I just went with the high led lights...they kinda have a white tent but nothing like the hid ones that I wanted. I got them for free though so it's all good. I'm just happy that they are brighter than the stock ones for sure. I'm thinking of doing hid ones this summer but i need to save some money for those ones. Which ones do people use.? That the only thing that I don't know. Any tips on which one fits the 2008 lance gts? Oh where to buy the right ones. Thanks everyone for your help
