Hi guys,

Recent hail damage done here in Pittsburgh. Geico quote for a new hood was $234. The price that I see on oemmitsubishiparts.com is $470. Are they trying to give me a Chinese hood or what?

kinda sounds like it but all insurance companies have their own sources for parts trying to do it for the cheapest possible. progressive never questioned the $550+ hood direct from subaru for mine when i got it for like $475 with my dealer discount. well that and they also never questioned the $4k claim that i had fixed all together and painted for about $1500.......
