i read somewhere on here a long long time ago, that there is another way to reset the ecu by pulling a fuse or something out of the fuse box under the hood. with this method, it wouldnt reset your radio and all that. does any one know this method?

EDIT: YES, i have searched, and for about 45 min and found nothing.

I just happened to be playing around under my hood when I took a glance at the fuse box under the hood. It did have one labelled as "front ECU", maybe that's the one?

 

I know wich one to pull out to reset radio, but it has nothing to do with the ECU.

I think unplugging the battery is fairly easier than looking for a fuse. IMO

 

I think it's the BIG GREEN one that says "ECU" on it...

 

i heard it is the oil pump fuse, or something crazy like that.

aight, the fuse number 8 under the hood worked, stupid CEL still keeps coming back on, back to autozone i guess.
