An even easier way to do it.

What you need:

1) flat plate of some sort... 1/16 - 1/8" thick

2) PVC "Closet" adapter that matches the size you need. in most cases 3." A closet adapater is the ring that is used for toilets that screws down to the floor. It usually is filled in the middle with the intention of you cutting or breaking it out. Basically it is a flat flange with a 2" section of 3" PVC sticking up from it.

What you do:

Take the MAS assembly apart and take out the little rubber gasket from between the air box and the MAS. Trace that on the flat plate and cut that out of the flat plate (trace on the INSIDE of the gasket)

Match the MAS up to the plate and drill holes where necessary. Then drill holes into the closet adapter to match that as well.

Then assemble it.. MAS - gasket - plate - closet adapter - hose/filter.

Takes about an hour to make. Costs 3 bucks. Works great.

Later.

Steve

They said the same thing about the MAS adapter on my homgrown SRI and 10,000 mi later there are STILL no problems with it! Rock on In fact, you SHOULDN'T get the AEM piece because yours looks WAY better IMNSHO

I'm not trying to talk trash about other posters, but this negativity toward board members who try to be creative and work around problems is gettin really old. I mean Jeebus, it's not like he pulled a Stewart, ripped the whole MAS assembly out and hooked some dryer hose up to the TB.

lol thanks man... i really couldn't wait!!!! but anyways... i talked to RRM and they said for me to call up AEM and get them to send me the right adapter.... errr... but yeah i've been really busy the pass few days so i havn't got to call them
