Allright, so I may be willing to spend the money on an apexi air filter but I need the MAS adapter to hook it up. On ebay they have it but when its all said and done I have to spend $25 for it with the budget filter that it comes with. Is there a place that I can buy one separately of does anyone know if that apexi filters that come with an adapter will fit our cars and where I might find a good deal on the two?? Any advice would be appreciated as always, thanks!!!

well heres the thing. you CAN buy it off ebay if you want. just make sure what size filter you want to use. the normal mas adapter plate from a local shop for mitsubishis are 4.5inch openings. now the norm for ebay is 3inch. just make sure you know what your getting. another thing..... local shop is going to run you 30-40 bucks just for the adapter... no filter (but again, 4.5inch). NOW if you do want the 3inch opening, then go ebay route and you can re-sell the filter if you want apexi.
