I know of course you discussed this issue before, but I think not for this engine.

This is not an US Mitsubishi lancer but its one of the Gulf area one type GLX.
4G18 is an 1.6L SOHC

It is not a simple question and I think the answer will not be simple too
Can I find an original complete turbo kit for this type of engines?

Please advice and it will be appreciated if your answers supported with previous projects or some links and pics.

Unfortunately, the general answer is going to be "we have no clue because 98% of us are from the USA".
If there is a complete kit, you'd be much more likely to find it on a local forum because we never got the 4G18 in America.

Im currently building a 4g18 reinforcing internals. Total seal rings custom made 317.00$ , acl custom bearings, upgraded springs beehive, cylinder head ported for second time. Mls head gasket. So far looking for arp studs but no luck, called arp and they said they dont make custom orders. But as soon as i figure it out going to buy universal turbo kit. i havnt found no original turbo kit for 4g18. It was never produced with turbo from factory. The closest thing to original would be an evo turbo swap and it would have to be worked on to fit. Rpw turbo is a direct fit but its not original.

 

Hi guys, I have same Mitsubishi lancer but its one of the Gulf area one type GLX, 4G18 is an 1.6L SOHC. and want to swap with 4G94 SOHC or 4G63 DOHC. Can any one inform me if any of these engines are direct fit bolt to bolt or not? and will it goes with the same CVT transmission?

same in the phillippines.4g18 is not a good engine. at least for me. even turbo is not good for that engine. the best solution would be an engine swap. might as well put a 63t in it.

 

Dudes. Help. Lancer 1.6glx 2002 model. if i get a 2lt colt ldv 2002 model that has a 4g63 motor in, can i drop it into lancer? also lancer front wheel drive and ldv rear. can i use lancer gearbox? also, crazy but could diff for ldv be mounted on lance to make it rear wheel drive? I have owned the 4g18 and 4g15dohc. Turboed the 4g15 successfully. A very fun engine but if you can source a 4g93t or 4g63 with eclipse FWD gearbox may be a simpler spend.
