02-03 grille option

so i was in the process of looking for grilles when i rolled onto this gem..
http://www.ilovebodykits.com/product...le_black_.html

does anybody know anyone who's tried this grille? I mean it looks kinda sketch to me.. car picture/price/all.. looks decent tho.

figured id post this because i know of a thread a little while ago, someone was looking for a cheap grille & didnt want to buy the $160+ one from roadrace motorsports or stock version

thanks!

well your not buying a grill your buying 2 sheets of mesh material and you have to cut to fit. not a bad idea though, just take some time....

Couldn't you get something similar at Home Depot for a lot cheaper?

Personally, I never liked that mesh look. I painted my stock grill and was pretty happy with the results (please don't ask for pictures, it was 8 years ago). But everyone has their own preferences.

I'll see if I can dig up any pictures. No promises, though. I don't have much from those days stored. Not sure why.

Basically, just lightly rough up the silver parts and carefully paint it. I went with black for simplicity.

Can't find any photos. A quick search of EvoM shows that I later purchased the RRM and VIS grills. Didn't even remember that I owned that many.

for what u need to make a custome grill is a spare grill from a junkyard or online , mesh get one thats easy to work with like chicken wire lol, hey its flexable and cheap. black spray paint, gray primer spray paint, bondoglass for the fillin, small can of it, small fiber glass repair kit to reinforce the fragle area, and sand paper 60/80, 120/220/320 assorted grits..

you will save around 50-60$ doing what i did and you can say hey i made my own lol

haha unfortunate blacksheep, yea apparently the internet reveals a lot of stuff that yourself you didnt know lol.

grill looks great ozr, no lie.
so you just kinda popped the outside of the stock grille off, meshed the back up, and then put bondo on.. is it the front the the grille frame?

sounds like a good option tho considering how well your project went
