Which Lancer Would be better for tuning?
I know the Lancer GTS has the 2.4l and the ES has the 2.0l
The GTS has more horsepower but the ES can exchange parts from an EVO or RA easier as they share the same engine except the turbo.
I really cant decide which one to get need some experienced tuners input on which one Would be best to get. Don't have the money for an RA or EVO so I'm sticking with these choices.

 

If you don't have the money for an RA or Evo, you probably don't have the money for an ES that you'll tune up into an mini-Evo.

Save your money up, then buy the car you REALLY want. I know from experience - buying a lesser car and then trying to turn it into something else is never fun. You should be upgrading to improve a car you already love; not trying to make it into something it's not.

 

Yeah I know what your saying but I just want to know which would be the best to get out of the ES and GTS.

well teh gts comes with ralliart suspension and bigger sway bars and ralliart rims. i drove both and i like the gts by far.
