You can never go wrong with an Optima color top or a Duralast Gold, both can be found at autozone.

Seriously, unless you're doing some heavy-duty audio-visual work, just buy the cheapest battery you can find. It will work fine for many years.

If you really need to spend extra money on something, Optima would be my recommendation on name alone.

Or if you actually want to improve your car a tiny bit, change to a mini battery to save a butt-load of weight on the front of the car.

optima color tops are way overpriced in my opinion. Since you live in Canada find the battery with the highest CCA rating and call it a day. DieHard from Sears are great too.

The cheapest battery with the highest CCA that fits.
I had a battery from Walmart that worked fine, sold it for $25 when I recently changed my battery (because I am installing an audio amplifier) to a Diehard Gold because that was the cheapest one that fit with a higher CCA rating.

In the end they are all lead acid accumulators using the same chemical reactions.
Xmas is coming, save your money for gas, liquor and lap dances.

Right now I have 2 subwoofers, rated at 700w and Class D sub in the trunk. No Capacitor, 1 Farad. All is working fine, no fluctuation in power. Especially with the Lights. When I turn on the defroster, headlights dim, but not substantially low.

Also, the temperature can dip as low as -40C / -40F. The car needs to be turn on at least once a week in order for the battery not to freeze.

Thank you all.

I would have to say Optima, they are a little pricey ,but they come with the 36 month free replacement warranty. Of which I was recently able to take advantage of since mine died at the 30 month mark (probably due to 2 15" subs) , but now I'm rockin a new yellow top for free
