Finally upgrading from the 14" steelies :]

Ill post pics later on tonight. I struck a good deal new years eve, bought a set of 17" MR7's for $170 bucks. They came with 4 tires(2 of which had decent tread).

The paintjob on them was horrendous so im currently sanding them down and im gunna have them professionally primed and painted by my buddy who details cars. I wont be spending too much in the long run tho.

$170 for rims
$150 for two new tires
$20 to take off tires
$18 for sandpaper
$16 for aircraft paint stripper
$100 for paint process (slightly glossy black) (white lancer)
$50 spline lugs
40 to get tires back on

Not bad if i dont say so myself. Expecting them to come out like this (plus original center caps):

Generally you do that when you replace the steel wheels. I have respect for him in that he bought some wheels in need of love and is improving them.

Thanks! The original owner was an acura cl owner (complete stoner) did the worst paintjob imaginable to them (didnt deserve them). I got them for a good price and invested in them accordingly. Now they will have a happy owner, me
