Okay, so I have had this issue for a little while and I cannot find a fix anywhere for it. I have taken off my stock taillights to paint them and when putting them back on, the far corner (the pointly one) sticks out from where it used to sit. I just got some after market taillights this Christmas and installed those. They do the same thing that my stock lights where doing. Anything I can do to fix this? Just to let everyone know, my car is a 2003 OZ Rally.

Not to sound dumb, but are you 100% sure you're installing them correctly?

there should be a ball socket on the end of the tail light. It may never fit perfectly. You may have to take the ball from the stock one and put it on the aftermarket one's.

I'm pretty sure there is a clip on the stock one's that fit into a hole in the car at the end. Examine it and see what I mean.

i have the same issue on my car. i fixd it by taping in 8-9mm bolt into the tail light ( where the ball joint nut thingy was ) that sticks throu the trunk. and sticks out about 1-1.5" on the inside.
i put in a ss washer and a matchin 8-9mm nut witch fixed it for me, crude but it worked
